Six months later, their April visit is still making my Mondays better. 💛 My sisters flew in from Washington and San Diego to give me some MUCH-needed sister hugs and love. We talked, celebrated Kamea’s birthday, laughed ALOT, and took pictures…I’m smiling at it all over again today. They also brought me a calendar full of motivation, self-love, and little reminders I read every day. April to October, it’s still making me happy and making me think of them. Looking through these photos this Monday, I’m just feeling really grateful. For the calls, the check-ins, the laughs, and the way we take care of each other from afar. For Fountain Hills, Scottsdale and Phoenix skywatchers, try after midnight into Thursday morning, once the Moon sets. Dark skies help, but clouds and moonlight can hide the show. You won’t need a telescope! My tip: bring a chair and blanket, put your phone away, and give your eyes about 30 minutes to adjust. Choose a safe spot away from streetlights (not many here) and check the weather and access hours first. Nature doesn’t promise an encore, but a quiet sky break sounds pretty good.
